Andrew McCarthy is a successful actor and director who is also a noted writer and editor for National Geographic Traveler. Best known for his starring roles in “St. Elmo's Fire,” “Pretty in Pink,” and “Weekend at Bernie's,” he has branched out with a flourishing Broadway career. Current projects include hit U.S. television series “Orange is the New Black,” “Turn” and “The Blacklist.” He returned to acting in ABC's 2016 hit “The Family.” His debut novel for young readers, “Just Fly Away,” was published in March 2017.
