Addiction and the Role of the Financial Professional

Language: English

As we face the worst drug crisis in American history, there’s a high probability that you or your clients have already been touched by addiction. Protecting your client’s assets in these cases goes far beyond insurance, investments and tax-saving strategies. Are you prepared to identify struggling clients and guide them through this unforgiving battle? Canzanella, who lost her husband to accidental overdose, shares her husband’s journey and discusses how the disease is not only ripping families apart emotionally but also financially. You may not be able to stop parents from wiping out their savings to save their child, but if you're aware of the battle, you may be able to guide them to the most tax efficient and penalty-free way to access money.
