Local Financial Advisor Appointed 2015 President of Premier Financial Association
Caroline A. Banks, APFS, Named President of Million Dollar Round Table
London, England (September 1, 2014) — Caroline A. Banks, APFS, Chartered Financial Planner, of London's West End, England, is the first woman outside of North America to be appointed President of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Banks will lead the association of more than 42,000 international members for a one-year term, effective Sept. 1, 2014.
Banks is a 25-year MDRT member and has achieved the organization’s highest honors in regards to professional excellence with 20 Top of the Table honors. As President, Banks will work with the Executive Committee to ensure MDRT continues to offer career-shaping resources such as informative articles on practice management and client services tips, networking opportunities, and much more for financial service professionals to improve client service, broaden their expertise and grow their businesses.

Banks has spoken at several MDRT events which include speaking at four MDRT Annual Meetings, the biggest event for the world’s leading financial service professionals, a Top of the Table Annual Meeting, an educational, four-day meeting for the top financial professionals as well as sharing her insight at two MDRT Experience meetings, which underscores best financial practices to professionals in the Asia Pacific region.
Her leadership roles in MDRT include serving as a three-time Divisional Vice President of the following committees that help MDRT determine how to best serve members: 2011 Special Projects, 2008 Annual Meeting Program Development Committee and 2007 Membership Communications Committee. Banks is also an active volunteer for the MDRT Foundation, the philanthropic arm of MDRT, achieving Diamond Knight status in recognition of her cumulative contribution. In addition, she was presented with a Quality of Life Award for her selfless volunteer efforts assisting the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) association.
Banks is Managing Director of Caroline Banks and Associates, one of the first firms in the U.K. to be recognized with the prestigious Chartered Financial Planning designation. She is active in the New Model Adviser movement in the U.K. and her firm was awarded inclusion in Citywire’s Top 100 Advisers in 2013 and 2014, which recognizes outstanding achievements in the U.K. financial advice community.
