Those eligible to register are 2022 MDRT members, current MDRT Global Services members, MDRT Academy members, mentees and agency managers. Spouses, children, relatives, friends or business associates are not permitted to register or attend any official functions or events.

Attire for the Global Conference is business casual. Neckties and similar clothing are not required, but feel free to wear what makes you comfortable. We suggest you research the location of the meeting for any inclement weather and dress accordingly.

Sharing or swapping your official Global Conference badge with another individual is strictly prohibited. Members found sharing or swapping their official Global Conference badge will have their badge confiscated, and they will be expelled from the Global Conference. The individual and the incident will also be reported to the MDRT Bylaws and Ethics Committee for further action, possibly resulting in revocation of membership

Before making any travel plans, review the Health and Safety section to ensure you fully understand the policies and protocols that will be in place for the 2022 MDRT Global Conference.

Food and beverage brought in from outside the ICC Sydney or official MDRT hotels is strictly prohibited, per their policy. No one, including companies and tour groups, is allowed to bring food and beverage into the ICC Sydney or official MDRT hotels. There are several dining options located within walking distance of the ICC Sydney and official MDRT hotels.

Outside organizations often sponsor their own events concurrently with the MDRT Global Conference. MDRT does not sponsor these events. Only the events listed in the Schedule are sponsored by MDRT. MDRT claims no responsibility for the other events.

English is the official language of the 2022 MDRT Global Conference. MDRT provides simultaneous interpretation of Main Platform presentations as well as select Focus Sessions when at least 50 registered members have requested interpretation in a common language for a maximum of 12 languages.

If more than 12 languages are requested, simultaneous interpretation will be provided in the first 12 languages that meet the requirement. Requests for simultaneous interpretation must be made at the time of registration. MDRT provides interpretation equipment to all registered members attending the meeting in person.

The deadline to request interpretation is July 19, 2022.

For the safety of all attendees, security will confiscate and remove any personal items left unattended. Luggage will not be allowed inside MDRT session rooms or meeting space. There is no luggage storage facility inside the ICC Sydney. Attendees should store their luggage in their hotel rooms or with the hotel bell stand, if necessary, on the day of departure.

If you are coming from outside the U.S., learn what travel documents and identification are required.

if your visa request has been denied OR if you are unable to secure the necessary appointment to obtain a visa, you are eligible to receive a full refund for the meeting registration fee if your request is received no later than July 28, 2022.  Any requests for refunds on or after July 29, 2022, will be subject to the cancellation policies and refund amounts outlined in the above Registration section.

International travelers (including Australians) might be able to claim a GST (Goods and Services Tax) and WET (Wine Equalisation Tax) refund for some goods bought in Australia that they are taking out of the country on a plane or ship.  The tax can be claimed back at international airports and seaports under the Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) and is subject to conditions.  Please be sure to read TRS details before making a claim. It is recommended that Global Conference attendees purchase travel insurance including coverage for non-refundable meeting registration fees.

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that your participation in all related activities is voluntary and optional, and that participation in any of these events is at your own risk. You agree to (1) release MDRT from any and all claims that you may have against MDRT arising from or related to these activities, and (2) indemnify and hold MDRT harmless from any and all claims, costs or expenses arising from your actions.
