EXPLORE SYDNEYThe primary venue for the Global Conference will be the International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney) located on beautiful Darling Harbour, one of Sydney’s largest waterfront dining, shopping and entertainment precincts.
The Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour will serve as the headquarters hotel for the Global Conference.

Maximize opportunities to meet and engage with fellow attendees over breakfast or at the end of an exhilarating day. Enjoy a leisurely stroll between your hotel and the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney and the many dining and shopping options located just outside your hotel’s front door. We suggest you make your housing reservations at the same time you register, and no later than July 25, 2022, to ensure you receive any special MDRT rates available.
Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD) is Australia's busiest airport, the oldest continually operating commercial airport in the world and the main gateway to Australia. It is located on the northern shores of Botany Bay. More than 35 airlines fly in and out of Sydney Airport, with daily flights linking Sydney to key destinations around the world. Sydney Airport is approximately 6 miles/10 kilometers from the city center and easily accessible by train, bus, taxi and ride-share.

International travelers (including Australians) might be able to claim a GST (Goods and Services Tax) and WET (Wine Equalisation Tax) refund for some goods bought in Australia that they are taking out of the country on a plane or ship.
