Enjoy your time in Los Angeles
As with any large city, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings. Things to keep in mind as you travel around L.A.:
Remove your attendee badge when away from the meeting — don’t draw attention to the fact you’re from out of town.
Don’t be distracted by your phone — walking with your head down or earbuds in could make you a target for theft
Jaywalking is enforced here — pay attention to walk signals at intersections to avoid a costly ticket.

Public transportation in the LA area
Metro Rail
Six fast, easy-to-use, and environmentally friendly color-coded subway, light-rail, and rapid bus transit lines offer visitors an affordable way of getting from one destination to the next.
Downtown DASH
Five quick bus routes through downtown depart every five to 10 minutes between 5:50 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, and every six to 20 minutes between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sundays. -
